Actually this particular post is just a link to a discussion on why our view of hell is not allowed to be discussed in most forums on CF.

I am hoping they allow us to discuss it.

OOH this is a particularly interesting subjecy. Well if I bothered to follow the link then I can take my head out of my butt. I mean not be quick to wit and bury my head like the proverbially ostrich. LOL

great if we could discuss it in here. I had a dream and vision on Hell. My view is when christ comes in the second coming and the 1000 year tribulation it will be satans earth and this I believe is the HELL mentioned. OOOH defiantely not stating a fact. annihilation theory of any kind makes people un easy I wish they only knew the facts and rest easy . This is a scary subject in itself probably why it is handled so gently.

Why anyone would accept that when the truth is so much clearer (and merciful), I'll never know!

There is definite, solid scripture that says there will be an "end". An end to satan and all of his followers.

And really, that makes a lot more sense than the other theories if you ask me! If they had scripture, maybe I'd buy it, but the ones they feel support endless torture really don't say that at all.

In all sincerity, I chose this name to post with, it's the main theme of scripture, and it's my favorite hymn...yet it's the thing I have the hardest time actually DOING sometimes.

if you hang out in GA for more than 60 seconds, you'll see that they are very concerned about this.

i set them straight, that hell is temporary, but most of them go with the "well most of you believe it lasts for eternity, therefore i will stay with the majority interpretation and use that one, as i despise it's idea. if i do not despise it, and take your (Riddick's) interpretation, then i will not be upset with the temporary hell you describe."
