Just recently, they published an article on a girl with Asperger's Syndrome in my local paper, and, speaking as a fellow Aspie (person with AS) myself, I'd have to say that this is one of the most accurate articles on the condition that I've ever read. Check it out: http://www.boston.com/yourlife/health/mental/articles/2007/01/08/understanding_aspergers_syndrome/.
The cool thing is, this girl lives reasonably close to me. I just wish I could get in contact with her somehow.
Ah, well. At least I know I'm not alone in being a depressed and anxious Aspie after reading that article.
EDIT: Also, I've been reading Songs of the Gorilla Nation, and it has spoken to me, too. Are there any other Aspies out there who really enjoyed and/or identified with that book?
