  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ed was a guitar player and singer. He was easy going and easily pushed around. He was a kind gentle person who believed in Christ. He was an alcoholic at a young age, and died when he was 32. I pray his parents come to know Christ, as they were left without a child.

Ed wasn't my boyfriend, but was my sister's boyfriend.

He wound up in the hospital with disease related to alcohlicism. Why he left so young I don't know, but I know he wondered on his death bed, as I had just come to Christ, and he couldn't believe that I had become a Christian. He told me he doubted, and I reassured him that Christ was real. It was so sad when he passed. I couldn't see him in his last days, and his parents wanted nothing to do with my sister. Ed was a good man, a kind soul. I can't wait to see him in heaven.
