A fresh start

Hello everybody,
I have been a widow for three months now. I am a stay at home mom of a very active 2 year old. I thank the Lord for getting us through this season and time of adjustment in our lives. We are blessed to have the love and support of our church. God is good. I know that is oversimplifying it, but sometimes less said is better. I have been keeping myself busy reading The Word and The attributes of God by AW Tozer. I am looking forward to a fresh start in my life.

I hope things turn out great for you. I was a young widow as well. But I didn't have any kids with my first husband. I will pray for you and your child but also am glad you have a good support system though your church.

Welcome here! You have a wonderful attitude; that will go far in getting you through this. So will the support system you have. I was greatly blessed by an incredible community of friends during that raw time as well. I have been a widow for nearly 6 years, but have been remarried for 4. I pray that God will continue to walk you through this.
