Im a death/black metal ...metalhead, but for somereason AFI really gets my attention. Anyone else into them?
I know alot seem to think AFI is pop-punk, but i don't think so. Their older stuff sounds like regular punk, (Shut your mouth and open your eyes), but their other albums like Black Sails in the Sunset and Art of Drowning seem like something else, whilst Sng the Sorrow is the same way.

I would have to agree that there is just something a little bit different about them. I really enjoy the fact that the guitarist is straight edge, proving you can be in a secular rock band and not get caught up in the stereotypical rock star lifestyle.

I have, at Warped '03. Awesome show, especially since it was getting ready to rain; really gave off an excellent vibe.
