Right melody
During the years I was teaching woodworking I had became a believer. I had accepted Jesus and now he was my saviour. So in the beginning I felt that I have to tell everyone what had happened to me. Not always the reception was thankful. After the whole school had got to know me becoming believer, a tension between me and pupils and other teachers began to grow. Pupils tested my nerves with many different wrongdoings.
On the side of woodworking lessons I had also short courses about electronics. We studied the basics and after that we did somekind of hobby electronics kit. Once there was again a lesson running and we were soldering the last components to the printed circuit board. This kit was 25 melody doorbell. I was helping a pupil who was far behind others in doing his work. With a bench drilling machine I did the holes to the printed board for the components. So I was drilling and my thoughts were running around drilling and how rough teaching had been during last months. I was thinking about taking sick leave for mentally reasons.
There I was drilling and feeling very low. I started to pray in my thoughts. I asked if Jesus knows my situation and if he could help me. I asked Jesus to give me some kind of sign that he is listening me. While I was praying and drilling there the pupils got their work done. They wanted to test their doorbell kit and one of the boys shouted if they may take the batteries from my table and but them in. Typically I checked all the soldering before I let the pupils use batteries but this time I was so low feeling that I just gave my permission.
One after another all the doorbells started to ring. I noticed that same song is coming from all of them. The melody paid my attention. I recognised the melody and that moment spirit went through me. The melody was Amazing Grace. I felt so good like there had not been any kind of low feeling nor bad thoughts. After the lesson was over I went to my teacher's desk and took one of the spare kits and drilled the holes, soldered it, but the batteries in and tested it - not that song. I had to push the switch several times, 15 or more, until the melody Amazing Grace came out. This kit played one of those melodies randomly. But during the lesson, every single one of those doorbells rang Amazing Grace as the first one. 20 doorbells ranging Amazing Grace that was to me more than a miracle and that was my sign from Jesus. I become a little sensitive remembering this.
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him (Nahum 1:7)
