A Few Prayer Requests

1. I'm going to the doctor in a couple of days to get a big bump under my chin checked out. I have a feeling that it's a boil, as it grew rapidly, has developed a few whiteheads, and feels a bit irritated. Pray that it's only a boil!

2. I recently started an online fundraiser for my mother for her high out-of-pocket medical expenses. Pray that I can get it off the ground.

3. I adopted a stray cat at work (think it's a girl). 10 days after adopting her, she suddenly went missing. It's unlike her, because she's been a stray around work for months, and had just started to trust me more. I hope that something didn't happen to her, and just want prayer in the hope that she's safe and will come back soon.

Just a couple of updates:

1. My cat came back Monday morning! I was outside, looked around the corner, and there she was. I saw her again today, too. Glad to have her back. Wonder where she was for a whole week?

2. Went to the doctor's today. He squeezed some pus out of the boil, and is supposedly going to have it analyzed to see if I've got an infection. I go back to him in a couple of days. In addition, he put me on a week's worth of antibiotics, and referred me to a general surgeon (conveniently located in the same office complex) to check me out. The cause might be due to ingrown facial hair. Glad that I've been diagnosed and am on treatment for it.
