2 Corinthians 1:24 Not that we have dominion over your faith,
but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand.
1 Corinthians 2:
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom,
but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
A Faith that stands on the wisdom of men, or the power of God.
Could it be that simple, that the Body of Christ having repeatedly been divided
by denominations and dogmatic beliefs come to rest on the wisdom of the men that lead,
without the manifestations of the Holy Spirit?
A survey of the word dynamis [G1411]=power, mighty deed, miracle, shows how prominent
this power was in the ministering of the Gospel, and how the absence of that Power leads
to works of the flesh and condemnation of Law.
1 Corinthians 12:27-31 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.
Abide In The Spirit!
Galatians 3:2-5 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Standing in the Power of God
Ephesians 3:
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
