CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Aletha, I want to share a little secret with you. If you want to win the stare down contest, a good lick does it every time. He'll laugh so hard there's NO way he can maintain the stare. It's beautiful really. Just be prepared to get thrown down and tickled. hehe

we actually both laughed at the same time! a shame hunh? when the picture came out i laughed and thought " i have to share this with someone!" we were truly bored that day!

I have to share a funny one too! About 3 months ago my 11-year-old and my 2-year-old had been fighting ALL day long and I was in the "bad place" of motherhood. I was ready to sell them both on eBay.
The 11-year-old thought it was funny to get his little brother so mad that he would shake, and no matter what I said he wouldn't stop picking on his sibling.
I told them both that they better stop it or I was going to move to Alaska. I was joking of course but they both looked really worried. LOL I went downstairs to make some lemonade and when I came back this is what I saw:
The oldest one told me that his little brother said "l sowwy" and pushed him down like he wanted to lay beside him. When the oldest one laid down, the youngest one grabbed his chair and slapped it over him so he couldn't get up! hehehehehe
My oldest one is playing it up for the camera in this shot, but when I first came up he really was a little panicked and I couldn't help but laugh!
