A creation Thread!!

I am a true believer in God and that he created the universe!! I have faith in God!! I just thought that this email was interesting!!

This is the answer I put in the other forum. Just in case you missed it there:

Roxie, I have faith that God created. So did Darwin when he wrote Origin of Species! Hunt isn't discussing whether God created, but HOW.

The basic logical error (besides all the scientific ones people have been pointing out) is: God must have created by a method based on a literal reading of Genesis 1 or God did not create and does not exist.

Surely you can see the does-not-follow in that reasoning. God can create by any method He chooses.

I suggest you relax, pop some popcorn, and open a Coke. Then sit back in your favorite chair and let science tell you how God created. That's basically how Christians have viewed science all along: telling them the material methods God used to create the universe.

What we have today is: God created the universe thru the Big Bang, galaxies, stars, and planets by gravity, life by chemistry, and the diversity of life by evolution.

But to reinforce what other people have said: the quantum "waves" associated with matter are very different from sound waves. Quantum "waves" are more a probability of where the matter will be found in space. They are more like a crime "wave" -- the probability of where a crime will be committed. Sound waves, OTOH, are the synchronized motion of molecules in air or water. Apples and oranges.

I think he is right. But, I can't figure out whether he is right for the right reasons. I think I heard about this. Going to take some reading.
My first reaction is to say "no way." But, its worth a read.

(You know, I had know idea that forum even existed?)
