I cannot link because of language but it is easily found. David Harsanyi is a senior editor at The Federalist,

On CNN today, Carl Bernstein, of Watergate fame, reports that people close to Joe Biden —people “who loved him, have supported him, and among them are some people who would raise a lot of money for him” — say his disastrous debate performance wasn’t a “one-off.” There have been, according to these insiders, “15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half when the president has appeared somewhat as he did in that horror show that we witnessed.”
Yeah, we know. All of us saw the horror show in a bunch of videos you hacks kept telling us was “misinformation” a week ago.
It was a concerted effort to hide the truth. What was democracy-corroding MAGA misinformation only a couple of weeks ago has miraculously been transformed into the accepted narrative of virtually the entire political media. It is an act of preternatural shamelessness. And not one journalist involved is going to explain how it happened.
In fact, I’ve seen many left wingers contend that the press’ reporting on Biden’s struggles only goes to prove they aren’t really as biased as we think. Which is an insane assertion. The gaslighting efforts failed. After the debate, there was no more pretending that examples of Biden’s fragility and mental slips were GOP dirty tricks. What else were they going to do? The president is incapable of putting on a press conference right now. He is unable to speak coherently and spontaneously.

Indeed, now the media is just doing the bidding of Democrats who want to remove the president to beat Donald Trump. Take Politico, one of the worst offenders in the Biden-decline coverup. It’s now turned into a mouthpiece for this faction. “We’ve all enabled the situation” sources within Biden’s “inner sanctum” tell Politico.
“It’s like, ‘You can’t include that, that will set him off,’ or
‘Put that in, he likes that.
It’s a Rorschach test, not a briefing
Because he is not a pleasant person to be around when he’s being briefed. It’s very difficult, and people are scared of him … He doesn’t take advice from anyone other than those few top aides, and it becomes a perfect storm because he just gets more and more isolated from their efforts to control it.”

Why else would Democrats nominate Joe Biden when a stunning seven in 10 voters don’t believe he’s fit to continue serving as president?

We have not been deceived. He has never concealed his income or his tax returns. He has never concealed his medical records or made his physicians sign NDAs. He has never asked staffers to sign NDAs. He has shared fact based reasons for all his decisions.
The openness of his administration has been refreshing after four nightmare years.
He has kept all the campaign promises he was able to enact by legislation or executive action.
This is just another case, his legacy, of seeing the glaring troubling actions of your candidate and inventing a story to criticize his opponent.

We have not been deceived.
That is a matter of opinion
He has never concealed his income or his tax returns.
Really? 21 shell corporations that give no service nor product but distribute money from foreign assets? And he block the Treasury from releasing 150 suspicious activity reports? Last I looked, that would be concelaing.
He has never concealed his medical records or made his physicians sign NDAs. He has never asked staffers to sign NDAs
and has repeatedly refused to take cognitive test that Trump was badgered into taking by the propagandist media - they are silent on Joe's refusal.
. He has shared fact based reasons for all his decisions.
That is a pipe dream - not provable - he sure didn't listen to his Military commanders and it cost us 13 lives because of his ineptness.
The openness of his administration has been refreshing after four nightmare years.
That is completely not true - Trump gave more interviews and open press discussions in one month than Biden has in three and a half years - Biden is known for his lack of transparency.
He has kept all the campaign promises he was able to enact by legislation or executive action.
That is just.... perhaps in someone's imagination it is.
This is just another case, his legacy, of seeing the glaring troubling actions of your candidate and inventing a story to criticize his opponent.
Thanks for the call out - I might have quoted the article - but I'm not the one who wrote the article, nor and I any of the Democratic leadership freaking out over Biden. Why do you think 70% of voters think he is unfit?

Good luck with that.

Interesting how you start with all the bologna the House Oversight Committee tried to trot out to "impeach" President Biden--and being unable to find any proof of wrongdoing. It angers me to see these ideologues wasting taxpayer money going on witch hunts which always prove fruitless. They did it to Hillary Clinton, too, with the same results.

And I certainly hope that you will all stop complaining about Biden "weaponizing" the DOJ (he didn't) now that the Supreme Court said that presidents have every right to do that and a lot more, especially when the person being investigated has truckloads of factual evidence of criminality. I also hope the former president will stop whining and crying victim about the "weaponized" DOJ since his attorneys fought so hard to give President Biden that right.

President Biden has been examined by "real" doctors who issue "real" reports with "real" facts and his cognition was not found to be a problem. I am certain he has taken "real" competency tests--not parroting five words in order and bragging about it as if he won Jeopardy's tournament of champions.

I don't know why people were so much more concerned about Biden's debate than Trump's glibly spouting lies as if he was doing it all his life (and of course he was.) Maybe it's because they are so used to the lies, crying victim, self-aggrandizing behavior--and Biden's debate surprised them. They may figure, "we survived four years of Trump, and only 1 million of us died of COVID, and perhaps only a few million more have long COVID disabilities (my son had to see a kidney specialist for a year and it took two years to get his blood pressure under control after COVID.) Yeah, we had the worst infection and death stats in the developed world due to his erratic, unscientific behavior, but we aren't one of the million who are six feet under."

I am certain he has taken "real" competency tests--

What is it that makes you "certain" of that?

Here is Biden's annual health report. There is no mention of cognitive function at all.

The White House Press Secretary said directly that he DID NOT have a cognitive test.

So how can you be "certain" that he's had a cognitive assessment when his annual health report doesn't mention cognitive function at all and his Press Secretary flat out said that he didn't need one?

There is zero actual and factually real evidence of crimes committed by President Trump.
I know of 12 people who disagree. 34 times, in fact.

-- A2SG, but what do they know...they only saw that evidence, and you haven't....

Wow. That was a real medical report, wasn't it? His numbers were amazing. His physical health is enviable.
So different from the report from the Walter Reed doctor with drinking problems who was angling for the Texas Congressional job. "He'll live till 200!" All I could think was "he must have a lot to hide."
I would like to see real cognitive reports on both presidents by a three-member team of doctors--the same doctors. Real reports with numbers--both cognitive and psychiatric.
Let's see who the coward is then.

You're dodging my question. You said you were "certain he (Biden) has taken 'real' competency tests" and I asked you what made you "certain" of that. You don't sound very "certain" at all now.

FTR, I've been calling for both candidates to have cognitive testing done for months. Back in February, there was a pretty lengthy discussion on this forum about this topic, and most of Biden's supporters pretended like Biden had never been more on the top of his game than he is right now. They probably heard it from Joe Scarborough, who as recently as March said, "This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. Not a close second. And I’ve known him for years." Apparently, Mr. Scarborough has changed his tune, because 5 days ago, this is what he said about Biden:

“I love Joe Biden,” Mr. Scarborough began as the cameras flipped on in his home studio in Maine. “I think his presidency has been an unqualified success.”
But.
“He spent much of the night with his mouth agape and his eyes darting back and forth,” the anchor said. “He couldn’t fact-check anything Donald Trump said. He missed one layup after another after another.” Now, he concluded, “is the last chance for Democrats to decide whether this man we’ve known and loved for a very long time is up to the task of running for president of the United States.”
How is anyone supposed to take positions like this seriously? How can you get up just 3 months earlier and say this is the best version of Biden ever in the history of forever and then just a few months later say, eh, maybe isn't up to the task of running as president? People don't decline that fast. Biden wasn't "the best ever" 3 months ago and unqualified now. And people don't appreciate the gaslighting.

The only ones "shocked" by Joe Biden's dismal performance last Thursday were those that who chose to ignore the obvious signs we've been seeing with increasing frequency over the last 4 years and were in complete denial that everything was fine with his cognitive state.
