  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There is a lady who is in our church's worship band that plays the piano. She is Catholic. She helps out in the rotation every other week. Our band rotates players every other week. Also the some of the band members help out every so often with her church when they do special events.

She is also in my Bible study group.

In the area where my parish is located, we always have a rotating ecumenical Thanksgiving service , it rotates among 4-5 Protestant churches, a Jewish synagog and 2 Catholic churches. It is usually very nice; but , not many Jewish or Protestant people come when it is at the Catholic church.

Also.....for the baccaulaureate services for our only public high school,,,,,it is also done on a rotation basis , just like the ecumenical Thanksgiving service. And then we have a reception for the seniors and their families and guests afterward.

I like when we can get together and see how each other worships God. After all, we are ALL God's children.

Peace and Love

Lady Grace
