Is there anything wrong with nude photography, so long as it is tasteful?

As long as it is done tastefully, there is nothing wrong with it.

Depends what the boundaries of taste are, its subjective.

Give me a concrete example from say a German 'arthouse' film?

I think there is a problem with nude photography. You may start by just looking at some innocent looking nude pictures, but pretty soon you will descend into the bowells of hardcore inappropriate contentography. Thats how it happened for me....it can happen to you too.
