I haven't had softserve or slushees in years because by the time Mum bought it home, showered and brought it inside it'd be mush.

Maybe for a special treat she can take a cooler with icepacks there? The softserve might not make it, but the slushees might. :^)

So, eHarmony is deceiving? What about the eHarmony experience wasn't good? I started those personality profiles about 3 weeks ago and I haven't had the time to finish it. Just wondering now if it is worth it....

Also...after I was done with the profiles....it took over two weeks for me to get ANY matches. After that, I have made about 25 matches in the last three months, with me deleting about 10 of them right away. The reason for deleting them was because the 10 guys had no mention of Christ in their profiles. Since the start, I have went through step 1 (answering their 5 questions) with about seven of the guys and none have responded since then. It's been about a month since I've received any notices or matches from them. Seems like a waste of time to me. If you decide to use it, I wish you better luck than I've had!

I understand that one all too well - it's one of my standard filters. If you're for real, God is in everything and what you're about. You just can't get by that, and even more so if you're looking for a godly relationship.

My other deletion filter is if they're in church regularly. I understand those those who have critical jobs that make it difficult, but the once or twice a year is a very different page than I am on. No matter how sinful His people may be, worship is about being before God, praising Him and hearing His word. Hopefully no flames - no intent to be offensive.
