I thought I heard on the news this morning that it snowed in Colorado yesterday. Too early for me!KeilCoppes said:Not that many. Denver is in the lee of the mountains and the snow usually comes down in the mountains or blows over to the Plains.
Generally during the winter we get snow on roughly 4 or 5 day cycles.
Day 1: Snow coming down
Day 2: Sun with snow on the ground
Day 3: Sun with no snow on the ground
Day 4: Just a little overcast
Day 5: Sunshine again...
We got snow up in the foothills today, though. It simply rained down in the city, though you couldn't tell in the morning. I put my windshield wipers up this morning just in case. I hear that in Minneapolis when the first snowflake hits the ground there is a snow plow there to pick it up. :^)

Fluttering by once again That's gorgeous... It's unfortunate that Southern California doesn't get the fall foliage like elsewhere in the country. I love fall with the crisp air and sweaters and turning leaves....caitlincares said:Leaves are turning yellow, orange, and red here.
And have started to fall.
I just pray for the leaves to blow over to my neighbor's lawn.![]()
(this is a pic from last year - my backyard)

I'm all ready for my weekend trip next weekend (not this one). I'm on my way to Virginia. The last time I was there the leaves were turning, greens, reds, yellows, oranges. The air was cool.... absolutely beautiful.Out of the Flames said:That's gorgeous... It's unfortunate that Southern California doesn't get the fall foliage like elsewhere in the country. I kinda snapped out of my no fall pity party tonight when I went to the beach. It was warm and it smelled so good, and the moon was hitting the ripples on the water just right... que bella!KeilCoppes said:I'm all ready for my weekend trip next weekend (not this one). I think fall is here in Colorado. Beautiful weather. It's one of my favorite times of year - now if only I could get out of work and enjoy it!
