I received a catalong from "Roman Catholic Books". They're on the web as booksforcatholics.com. Anyway, there's a book that looks very interesting to me, and I was wondering if any of you have read it or heard about it.
Hey, Wols...you have soooo many books, maybe you are familiar with this one???
The title is Back to the Bible and it's written by Cuthbert Lacey, S.J. The write-up sounds like something I would enjoy greatly, but then I've been "fooled" before. The write-up also states that said Cuthbert Lacey is (was?) the Jesuit whose research was crucial to the Westminster Version of the Bible, and was widely praised for this 1944 guide. (I'd never heard of the Westminster Version)
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I may just go ahead and order it, even thought I've been trying to "be good" about spending at least till February... Holiday expenses coming up, a weekend retreat in January... Oh well, who was it who said, "I'll spend my money on books, and whatever's left, I'll buy food." ? Heh... No, I'm not that bad. And, hey! This could be a Christmas present from me to me.
