A Better Me

I'm amazed at how much God really loves us. I am still not allowing myself personhood. I used to call myself a piece of meat because that is what I was reduced to. That title made it easy for me to S.I. when I felt like. Now I've moved up a step to "ground round." So, I guess there is hope for me yet.

What amazes me is that God never gives up on us no matter how often we slip and have to start over again. He is so gentle and kind. I'm just learning this for the first time. It is because I finally took a step of trust with Him and am allowing Him free reign in all of me even the parts I would keep locked up tight.

What a difference it has made. I have made some resolves and put them in a song. These are the lines:
I'll never give up. I will never stop. I've found a place to end and begin (with God). I will always remember to hope and believe (that God will always be there for me).
If God doesn't give up on us, then let us not give up either no matter how hard it gets.

I used to consider myself just a piece of meat only a few months ago. I am at times fully considering myself as a child of God. But when I'm down and struggling with self-esteem issues, I want to revert back to the piece of meat. But I don't feel that badly anymore so that is why I say "ground round" now as a sort of step up in the worldly sense.

I don't say or think it too often which is good. God wants only positive things to come out of our mouths. Check the rest at the door! Thank you for being so out spoken. I appreciate that in you!!!!!!

I am just so amazed at his awesome LOVE as well my friend. His LOVE just keeps pouring. *thumbs up!*
