I don't want to hamper this post unnecessarily but I'm curious as to what the value of speculation is? However it turns out I just pray that people not get riled up over it.

I know a few people that believe it was the US and I don't understand their opinion. I just wondered how many there are out there that believe that way. If it is an incorrect venue I am sure they will take it off. Still, I would like to understand their thinking.

I must not be posting my remarks as I did write an answer to your question.
It would not change my life as I don't think I would believe it. I am at the opposite end of conspiracy theories. I just want to understand where they are coming from. Some have said that planes would not cause the beams to melt. They are not saying it didn't happen, they are saying it wasn't airplanes that brought them down.Some kind of explosive that the IS planted or something like that.

War is very profitable for the Mega Corporations behind the military . When the Soviet Union ended there was no enemy to fight and justify spending trillions on the military they needed a new one .What better than the Middle East where people been fighting forever and where they hate America because of western influence through media and US bases there. So the government officials didn't act on info they had on possible targets .. Look at the picture of Dick Cheney sitting at his desk with his feet on the chair watching the planes crash ? instead of having 2 phones in his ears calling the trillion dollar Air force .That pic tells the story . Because of the Internet they can't stop the flow of info so they flood the net with conspiracy theories so people don't know what to believe. and give up seeking the truth.
