There already is a documentary made by 2 French brothers who were filming a documentary about NYC Firefighters who happened to be there during the time of 9/11. Then they changed it into a documentary of events on 9/11. They have footage of events at ground zero and inside the Twin Towers. I have the DVD, it's called

9/11 The Filmmakers' Commemorative DVD Edition

Nope. Even though there have been movies made about Wars and other events in this world, I would personally not see a movie that has affected me as an individual. War veterans have trouble watching Saving Private Ryan or Apocalypse Now and I think it's the same for someone who has been impacted by September 11th or the Tsunami disaster, etc. But, it will eventually be done and I'll have the choice to watch. I won't. :)

If it were a movie, no, I would not. To build on what Phyre said, we've already had it seered into our memory with the mass media coverage; I don't particularly want to see a movie about it. Not to mention that the movie would probably be made with the intention of getting a ton of money, not with the intention of respecting/honoring the families involved or anyone who died that day.

If it were a documentary (not aired in theaters, so I would have some assurance that they weren't making it just to get cash) then I might see it.

what is this "farhenheight 9/11" then? havent seen it.

Farenheit 9/11 is I think the second offering from the rather left wing Mid Western film producer Michael Moore. After having seen the film, I gained the impression that its really quite a continuation from "Bowling for Columbine", except F 9/11 deals with more international issues. Moore is a brilliant critic. But some might argue that he takes too much liberties in his satire of America.
He presents his criticisms as if they were factual. His ability to do this is quite remarkable. Although his films offer a rather simple negative portrayal of the issues he deals with, this is probably the best strategy in order to hammer home his message.

There's a documentary called WTC:...and something else. I forgot. It's about 40 mins longs, with no voicer narration or any music. It's just the images.

If they made a film about 9/11 I'll stay the hell away from it. At least Gaspar directs it, and Will Ferrell gets to play the president.
