Many who exegete this passage, myself included, understand that Jesus' language is intentionally echoing the book of Daniel where Daniel in his "night time visions" sees one like a son of man taken up in a cloud to the Ancient of Days, and the Ancient of Days grants him all authority and dominion; this isn't a reference to what Christians call the Parousia, or Christ's appearing/return at the consummation of history, but to His ascension and being seated at the right hand of God.

Many others do see in this a reference to the Parousia. If it refers to the Parousia, then it's the Parousia--an event that is rather clearly defined in Christian theology and tradition as the actual return of Jesus at the consummation of history, "to judge the quick and the dead" as the Apostles' Creed puts it.
In our tradition, we always distinguish between the Torah from Sinai (and all words of the prophets) and opinions of even great theologians. Of course, many wise men tried to understand ancient prophecies about the latest time, but the common rule is that their opinions are often inexact or incorrect. For example, a lot of prophecies about restoring Israel are fulfilled now, but the forms are far from all guesses of theologians: they didn't know anything about the modern technique and society forms.

In this case situation is the same. Only a little part of Jews and probably nobody among Christians didn't guess that the Messiah will come as a large group of people working together with God, like Jesus 2000 years ago. But now it's a fact: Messiah is collective.

In the Christian view the Parousia won't be confusing, nobody will ask, "Is it Him?" everyone will know. It's not unlike the Jewish understanding of Messiah's coming--it will be so obvious that nobody will not believe it happened.
It is true, but Christians didn't know WHY will it be so. The reason is very simple: it is impossible to confuse when thousands of Messiahs work in 8th Day project through all the world. Impossible to confuse for people passing to 8th Day; other people are not "interesting" and may make a mistake. This situation should occur in nearest years, when Messiahs will completely start their work.

Which is why, at least as far as orthodox Christianity deals with it, the minute details are fundamentally unimportant, all that is asserted is that it will be Jesus (the same and actual Jesus who was conceived in Mary's womb, in the flesh),
It is just an opinion of Church, and even no all, but only Orthodox Church. It is not words of Jesus or of prophets. Why do you canonize the human opinion?

that it will be obvious (nobody will doubt it, nobody will question it, it will be accepted by all) and at His coming the dead will be raised, bodily, the graves will be opened,
Also very interesting. All spoke about resurrection, but until today nobody made reasonable models how will it occur. Who is "dead"? Obviously not a human body. Moreover, most of bodies of all dead people don't exist already: they are fully integrated with earth, bodies of plants and animals eating plants, etc. Nothing to resurrect! Only graves of last generations still exist and contain something; 99% of graves of people died 1000 or 3000 years ago are fully destroyed!

I believe that resurrection relates to SOULS, not BODIES. But how the immortal soul can resurrect? It is absurd. Solution is given in our course: it is restoring memory about past lives! It is the required action while passing the Gates.

If that doesn't happen, then it hasn't happened.
It already started to happen. The 1st part - returning God is already obvious for millions or hundreds of millions people who speak with God today. The 2nd part - coming Son on Man - will become obvious very soon, because almost all these people (Messiah) already were born.
