I’ve been longing to resume my daily reflections but the words wouldn’t come. Perhaps the Lord needed to reconfigure my focus and build a life that reflected who I am. Not the woman I was long ago. Maybe He wanted to do something new instead.

To tell you the truth, i’ve never written for myself. I don’t have a stack of journals or private musings no ones seen. I poured them out unreservedly. Heartfelt libations that another read and scrutinized. And I wasn’t afraid or ashamed. I don’t know why.

All this time I’ve been silent. Until now.

I could ask questions and chew on the why until sleep overtakes me. But that’s not the essence of living intentionally and trusting God through our uncertainty. Because sometimes we have to live the questions. The answers won’t make sense until we’ve got some mileage under our feet.

Instead of pondering I’m resting in today’s thought:

And I’m feeling a quiet peace.
And creating a new way of relating in this space.
And I’m nurturing the part of myself He’s restored and ignited to come forth once more.
And I’m releasing limitations and trusting in His providence. He knows the way.

But in more seriousness, if I am understanding the gist of your OP correctly (and I hope I am doing it justice), sometimes just trust in God and a hope for a better future by His grace is all we have, because all the questions we ask and cry out to God or to other humans close to us can barely be formed in understandable words to ask in the first place, much less be answered to our satisfaction and peace of mind. And you seem to be understanding how to trust and hope more and more, as your life goes on, at least from my third-person, very limited perspective, for what it is worth.

Stay classy and wise, Bella. We'll be here for you in any way we can. But most of all God will surely be.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 God has made everything fit beautifully in its appropriate time. He has also put a sense of eternity in people's minds. Yet, mortals still can't fully grasp what God is doing from the beginning to the end [of time].

Psalm 104:23,24 people go off to their work, where they labor until evening. O LORD, what a variety of things You have made! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth if full of your creations (riches, possessions).

Psalm 65:11 You crown the year with Your goodness & richness overflows wherever You are.

God gave each one of us creativity & special gifts & abilities, being made in His image. We are to develop these, through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, that we might be His workmanship, His tapestry, His poetry, His unique message worked out, for His glory.

Today, I’m feeling settled and thankful that God’s idea of simplicity far exceeds my own.
❣️And I’m nurturing my desire for a companion once more and opening my heart to possibilities.
❣️I’m creating a butler’s book (similar to a household manual).
❣️And releasing the stasis that prevented me from completing my development plan. It’s done and I’m working on a service manual for couples.

Good for you, Bella.

Although, I am kind of wondering what this service manual will be like.
