CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Disagreements happen between people Multi, even among Apostles (Luke 9:46, 22:24, Acts 15:36-41). But, that doesn't have to affect us or stop us from loving people. The key is to stay centered on Christ (John 14:27) for His peace. Keep being creative. God bless

forgive me for saying this, but I think we're meant to focus on reality. Yeah, be creative and do what you love, but we live here in reality and at some point you're going to have to face reality. It's a part of life and it's going to pass you by if you're stuck trying to live in fantasy because the real world is too much for you. You're going to have to realize it's okay for people to disagree with you, that you're not right about everything you think/believe, and that's perfectly fine!
No one thinks less of you if they disagree with your point of view. And God has full control, not you. I understand how you feel, because I'm a creative person who had a lot of bad things happen to him, so I turned to creative ways to help me get through the tough reality I was facing. I don't know what you've been through that the real world is so hard for you, but I hope you don't hide yourself too much from it. That's not why God created us.
