7th Heaven

Ok this show is now on during the day-time and as my work hours are weird, most of the time I can watch it. So... what do you guys think of 7th Heaven?

The episode today was the one where Lucy gave birth in the elevator at the department store. Didn't she just announce that she was pregnant a few episodes ago? Wow, those 9 months just flew by!

I never used to like it, but it's growing on me, just as something light to watch during the day (as apposed to those awful soapies).

So...thoughts anyone? Anyone a fan?

I really like 7th Heaven but I have to admit that the quality has slipped a bit over the last few seasons. They used to deal with a lot of important issues but now it's all about the dangers of premarital sex. Don't get me wrong, this is good, but there aren't really any other intriguing story lines to offset being hammered by this week after week. I have to say though that the Christmas episode from the past season was excellent and very touching. I wouldn't mind seeing it again because I was really impressed with how it dealt with the whole Santa thing as well as the true meaning of the holiday. Did anyone else see this one?

All the rumors were true, 7th Heaven is definitely coming back. A couple months ago I found a website hosting the new ad for the CW, which had the whole 'fresh 7th heaven' thing going on...I can't find it now though. This is what I have found on the new 7th heaven;


Stephen Collins, who plays the Rev. Eric Camden and his wife, Annie Camden, played by Catherine Hicks, will be back for the entire 11th season, said Dawn Ostroff, head of entertainment at The CW Television Network. The Reverend returns with a heart ailment, however, the New York Daily News reported.
Several of the other regulars, including the couple's seven children, will be back part time.
Haylie Duff is to be a regular cast member as her character, Sandy Jameson, enters seminary school.
The new season of "7th Heaven" premieres Sept. 25 at 8 p.m.

He had a heart attack a couple seasons ago, so its probably something to do with that.

for American 7th Heaven viewers!

As posted by someone else in this thread, 7th Heaven will be airing this
fall on the new CW network.
An important thing to bear in mind is
that some WB stations will become CW stations while others will not! Some UPN stations will join the CW in september as the UPN and WB networks cease operations.
To make sure you can find 7th Heaven in your area, check the CW station list at Wikipedia or look for the CW's official website for more info.

so far confirmed, 7th Heaven will still air mondays at 8 PM on

New York's CW, WPIX-11
Boston's CW, WLVI-TV 56 (HD 41),
New Orleans CW 38,
Philadelphia 57
and others.
Canadian channels should not be affected.

What do you mean deception? It was canceled by The WB. No one knew that the CW was going to resurrect it even when the series ended.

To be honest, I am glad they are bringing it back because the original series finale was so stupid and now they can fix that a bit.

Ok, wasn't paying attention to who owned the chanels and all that. Honestly, I only watch that specific chanel WB/CW (I know it is chanel 17 here.) to see Gilmore Girls and 7th Heaven. So, deception? No you're right. It was a miscommunication. In the end I'm still sucked in to watching it.
