I only saw the last five minutes of it, so I really can't comment.
Why was it dumb?
Eric was in "heaven" and everyone was patting him on the back for all the wonderful things he had done for their families. Annie's mom was showing him around and she said that his guardian angel was making a case for him to be returned to his family. Of course at the end they end up all hugging and merry. Truth is, as much as I don't want Eric to die, it was rather sickening. Sometimes they really seem to understand the Christian story and others I just want to throw the TV through the window!

ha ha ha, I only caught the last five minutes. I do sometimes think they do a great job of teaching about christianity as the actors are not christians, not sure about the writers. Last year they did a great Christmas epsisode.

I just watched the one where Eric is getting really sick with his heart. The one where he takes the hamster to the vet. It was good but now it's sort of getting a bit slow. I'm angry that Annie wouldn't insist he go to the doctors - and I'm sort of frustrated because I know what's coming...and from reading spoilers a few posts up, I was right.
