  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I would say no, because of the commandments "Keep holy the Sabbath day."
While I have the same answer of it not being optional, the reasoning is different. A person can keep the day holy without being at Church. The point of that commandment was about working on the Sabbath, not gathering. There are better verses for this.

Is the Church Optional?

Jimmy is the Bible Optional? Truth is the Church is not optional, nor the Bible. For without the Church we would have no compiled Bible guided by the Holy Spirit. Church and Bible go hand in hand, one cannot be separated from one another, all thought the Church comes first.

Churchianity is optional.
If you're Christian, you're in His church.
Anybody else's church is somebody else's church, no matter what they tell you different.
It's like an intelligence test.
Someone lies to your face.
Do you believe them because they believe it?
Do you believe it because you believe them?
