• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just wanted to share some of my favorite gospel songs. gospel music is very powerful, not only in glorying the Lord, but testifying of trials and victories in Jesus name. if you guys have some encouraging music, feel free to post as well. Have a blessed day.

Even in the midst of trials, we should glorify God. singing really helps the soul and it brings us closer to Him. breakthroughs come through trials, as we see in this scripture, have the faith, because even in this storm, God's light can shine through.

i really like this song. and it's true. it's gonna be worth it. all the pains and tears and the heartache, confusion. everything. to see HIs face, and be with Him forever, the One who loves us the most. can you just see that? no worries, no tears, but eternal peace, oh thank Him. im so unworthy, oen minute i was down the road to hell and didnt even know it and He just turned my life around, and set me in heavenly places that man, are just, beyond what i deserve, teh fact that i can even go to His throne of grace is a blessing. we're okay with Jesus <3

What a blessing music is too, I'm so glad the Lord invented it so that we can praise Him! we all so easily forget that although we suffer in many things, we also have much to be thankful for in the Lord, because really what purpose would there be in getting up tomorrow if the Lord Jesus didn't love us? I don't understand why atheism is so appealing to some people...they really have no idea what they are missing...The love of the Lord is only thing that keeps me going in this life on earth.

So many of us live in the present moment that we forget that the Lord has our whole eternity planned out for us, that He foreknew us even before we existed (think of that!) and that this present age of suffering will soon be consummated and the Lord of glory will appear to us and we will be changed, hallelujah, praise the Lord!

and you're right. sometimes we have to regroup. and remember that all things work together for our good. i dont know what was going on in Joseph's mind when he got sold to slavery and then in prison, but those were just the steps to his destiny, and so it is with us. i prayed that this year me and the Lord get closer than ever, and then a trial upon me, and im like but this is our year to get closer and then i remembered, this thing is going to be used to pull me closer to God. so i glorified God in the midst of my confusion, because i know i was going to come out stronger and closer in Him than ever. and we have to speak the word of God to our situations, and say to these mountains, in Jesus name, be thou removed (=

God bless you, this song is so good. so much energy. gets you in praise mode. love to see God glorified in all types of instruments and sounds.
