Just wanted to share that God is awesome! Let me tell you I started losing faith and I was more than drifting away! But you know when you can feel it but you just ignore it and do you own thing, thius took place for around 9 months and just had this state of mind that I just didn't care and this whole church thing was not for me! I didn't really tell anyone, and no1 approached me about it and I was ready to lose my position as youth leader at my church, and randomly a lady that I knew said to me she was doing a 7day fast and she just ligthly mentioned it over the mobile to me! And it was God said to me you need to join in, so Gave her a call back and got more details then I asked her if I could join, sshe said yes! I'd love you to join...and I felt God telling me to tell other in the end I got 10 more onto this fast! Bearing in my mind this was the first time I had ever done a 7 day fast! But I felt I needed to do this....Let me tell you during this fast the most amazing things happened considering I had being. Not Godly for agesdisob. God blessed me beyond measure, with presnts and his word and healing! But most of all GOD SPOKE to me wow I never had this before it was awesome, this is the time that we need to be armed and dangerous! God said that the end times are upon us and being well equipped.. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Friend, tell us more about your fasting experience! Go into detail, what did God tell you? How did He heal you? Did you learn anything new?
You're not fasting NOW so it's ok to talk about it.
I think Satan doesn't want us to believe it's ok to talk about fasting, which is why (in my experience only) Christians do NOT fast enough (when our Bible clearly instructs otherwise).
When I fasted recently, I discovered myself APART from my emotions. And that was a huge learning lesson for me because Satan wanted me to believe my emotions were my identity.
The Bible is very clear emotions are not the Truth, but when you're carrying on with daily life, it's hard to remember that.
Fasting helped me discover I am in control of my emotions - not vice versa.
I recommend fasting for all born-again Christians. Not only do it, but talk about after. We are all here to glorify God, He doesn't mind if we praise Him through discussing our fasting experiences (if I stand corrected by His word - please rebuke me! I don't want to mislead anybody!!).

The end times began when Jesus was resurrected. The only thing that has not happened is Christ's return. I've had some pretty freaky dreams and been shown some alarming things but I stick to what it says in Mathew 13:32 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." This calms me down alot whenever I think the end is near. I had a dream I was walking down the street at night looking at a lunar eclipse. Then the moon disappeared and up in the sky there was a round sign with Jesus drawn on it and the sky was a bright luminescent blue way brighter than normal daylight. Then I heard a "tick, tock, tick tock." I was convinced the world was going to end in 5 days but it didn't. If Jesus himself does not know when the world is going to end, then there's no possible way that I could. Having the urgency of his return in our hearts will do us good whether he returns in our life or not.

i found it only takes three days water only reading the bible and praying for HIS help!
