Tonight after Bible study a dear friend of mine asked to speak alone with me. She's 20, and is engaged. She asked me a few questions about my "quiverfull convictions". She had a few concerns, but she truly believes God has called her to this lifestyle. She needed to ask me some things so that she could speak about this with her fiance.
We had a GREAT conversation and prayed together. She is so ecstactic... ready to take on a lifestyle that I know will bless her so much.
All I have to say is "Praise God!" I NEVER say much of anything about being quiverfull, unless I'm directly asked. I've never spoken of this with her. Yet, she knew. And the fact that she came to me is incredibly humbling. It shows me that people are watching. Whether they agree or not, they see my children. They know when I was married. They know how old my girls are. They SEE my beliefs.
Sometimes I feel overwhelmed. I think many quiverfull mothers (and mothers in general) feel this way. But take comfort in the fact that you are doing what God has called you to do, and people will notice! While we do not do it to be noticed, we CAN set a Godly example through our lifestyle and actions.
So tonight my prayer is one of thanks that God used me, even while I didn't know what was going on! Stay strong and live your life for Him. You never know who's watching!
