Also, what's the deal with having one's rosary or scapular blessed? I have a scapular my girlfriend gave me and a rosary, and never had them blessed. Is it wrong to not have them blessed?

Brown Scapulars do not need to be blessed if you are enrolled in the Brown Scapular...but it isn't a bad thing if they are!

Rosaries should be blessed-- but it isn't like you can't use them if they are not
