I was watching a show on EWTN about the doctrine naming Mary as "Advocate, Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all graces". It seems that some Catholics hold this as the 5th Marian doctrine behind the Virgin Birth of Christ, the Perpetual Virginity of Mary, The Immaculate Conception and the Assumption. Yet even among Catholics it seems a little controversial as to whether it should be declared a dogma (belief necessary for salvation). Many in favor thought that John Paull II would make it dogma, but he didn't. Do you all think that Benedict XVIII will formally declare it so? And do you think that it should be?
