She's was perfect . He even bought the ring before leaving . He delayed unsure of war and himself, but was back ring in hand. He entered, noticing her gaze shifting between a bigger diamond and her ex. Too late. He left heartbroken missing her words " she'll love it, Im hoping for my own once he's back."
