I hope Trump gave our people credit for their work, but I suspect that he didn't. He normally takes credit for the accomplishments of others.

Actually, the majority of our troops did not care for Obama and today the majority of our troops love Trump.

At every rally Trump has held for the last couple of years he mentions our troops over and over and over again.

And more is being revealed every day regarding Obama and his illegal spying tactics and other Dirty Deeds. People love him and that go for it.

Can't people have their likes and dislikes without certain people saying they are not true? You may have your opinion on Barack Obama, but don't go around saying our soldiers are not true fighters because they don't agree with you. There is great controversy in our country because Donald Trump has the nerve to dishonor John McCain who has made great sacrifice for the country all of his adult life. Donal Trump would not even serve in the armed service. He got numerous deferments, but, John McCain served. By the way, Have you ever served in any branch of the armed service?

Compare to the way Americans view him generally:
43.4 percent approval. Not that much difference.

Trump's disparaging comments about the way our troops were cleaning up ISIS before the election angered a lot of them. While the military tends to be more conservative than the average American, they aren't that conservative.
