1. My mom making "superdrinks" (her yummy milkshakes).. then i'd jump around the house pretending the drink gave me magic powers and I could fly.

2. Coming home from school in the springtime and being greeted by my dad sitting outside gardening.

3. Going to the beach once a summer -- the same beach, most summers the same little hotel with a nice outdoor pool.

4. Babysitters. Making them play games with my brother and me.

5. Christmas parties with my dad's family; Thanksgiving with my mom's.

Even tho you're married, it's ok to call it a date. Hubby and I have been married for almost 30 years. We try to have date night every Fri.

Things not to do:

Bungy jumping.
Amusment park, unless they have good shows too.
Swimming in shark infested waters.
Deep sea diving.
Going anywhere that involves a very long plane ride.
