So... if

x axis = Right/Left
y axis = Up/Down
z axis = Forward/Back

A 4th physical dimension/axis might be something like Inside/Outside? Or possibly a spiritual dimension like Good/Evil. This is an interesting clip, I've watched it many times.

Those who respond that time is the 4th dimension likely don't understand your question. Many seem to speak of time as if there is an absolute determinant that means it must be the 4th dimension, when it fact it is merely a matter of convention (since Einstein) to call time the 4th dimension. Mathematically it could be the 1st, the 10th, or the 100th.

A 4th (or more) geometric dimension is hypothetically possible. To us something that moves in 4 dimensions appears to turn inside-out. But there's not any practical applications of the idea that I'm aware of.

Dimensions are a matter of definition. There is no absolute constraint forcing a specific number of dimensions upon us. I would even go so far as to say that space and time (along with their dimensions) don't exist but are a mathematical convenience.

The idea of a "spiritual" dimension, however, is basically the stuff of fantasy fiction that completely misunderstands the mathematical construction of a dimension. There is no comparable definition of "spiritual" that would allow it to be incorporated as a dimension commensurate with other physical dimensions.

I like dimensions. I was thinking the other day when I was talking to my dog, that this creature simply does not have the capacity to respond... His DNA will not allow it!

Strangely, it is somewhat easier to contemplate a universe wrapped around itself through a 4th dimension, than it is to consider a universe that is infinite.

However, if the universe really does contain 4D stuff and clutter, coexisting with the 3D stuff we know, shouldn't we then observe bizarre objects pop in and out of existence more regularly?

Surely the 4th dimension would not only contain things that could consciously decide to keep themselves out of sight?
