40's LOST AND FOUND

Knowing how wise and funny the Fab 40ers are, it occurred to me that we could easily do a thread based on a book that a friend of mine wrote called "Lost and Found".

The concept is that in life we lose certain things, only to find the gain is sometimes greater. So I thought we could post our lost and founds here. Besides, we have yet another way to post!

So, I'll start.....

I lost my temper,

only to find my humility as I explored the other possible outcomes had I not.

I lost my sock (I think the monster in the dryer ate it), only to find a great dust rag in it's sadly deserted twin.


(there....I did a heavy and a light one.....anyone else want in?)
