I have alway wanted to know how to play 3D Chess. You know, with 3 boards. Anyone know where I can find the rules or tell me them? Anyone know where I might be able to play it for free?

I didn't know 3d chess actually existed, I just thought it was used for tv shows. Including StarTrek TNG, whose version seems a little bit different then regular chess. Chess is such an intricate game, if you had 3d chess, that would be an amazing mental challenge. If it doesn't already exist, someone should make it.

It does. My grandfather said he played it and it was hard. That's what he told me back in the day.

I was trying to make a 3D chess board but I didn't have a strong enough frame.
It is not that difficult to play, once you have a set. and there are instructions all over the internet for playing it and making your own board... Just don't improvise with wire hangers... it doesn't work
