Someone please answer this question for me....Why are they making this public? Linda and her husband should be at the privacy of their own home talking about this, if a divorce happens ok, but no need to let the world know why. There should be some disiplinary actions against Danny for making this public.

There are some definite inconsistencies in this Doctors statment as opposed to Linda's statement. She said she had talked to John Lomacang in counseling and the Doctor said she hadn't. I don't know if she hadn't told him about that on the telephone or not but there are more things that seem to be inconsistant as well.

This whole thing stinks and I know the Devil is shouting for joy over that fact, he hates 3ABN.

First off Daryl I want to thank you for being viligint about this. Those you at Maritime, Black SDA and Club Adventist should really be commended for being in on the ground floor. this certianly marks a new day in the SDA chruch when the avarage with the use of a cell phone, cammera or a bullient board can hold a powerful person like danny shelton accountable for his actions. the chruch is the Lords and is for his sheep not for 1 person to make money of of or decide the fate of the whole group. Danny is taking SDA money for his own cause andly lying to the sheep about it. thank-you.


As to Why this is public, because DANNY MADE IT PUBLIC. Danny has brought this all on himself. i remember when this all first started. i was aggast that the would announce such a personal problem on "world tv" effectively isolating Linda and splitting the chruch and his viewing audicence. Danny's team was not thinking when they did that. someone should have seen that a split would occur. If it can happen in heaven to God who is innocent then it can definatlly happen on earth with people who are not perfect.

to me Danny seems arrogant. he want peoples support but doesen't to give an account for his actions. for almost 3 years danny has used his platform to bully linda and expects that we all belive him "just because he says so" . danny has been given oppetunity after oppertunity to just present the facts what he saw and heard and he has refused. he says that he does not want to hurt linda, but if he is lying he already has and contiunes to do so with the powerful tools he has at his disposal.

If he would just make plain honest statemenst they would be posted in there entirty and that would be that, but danny won't. why what does he have to hide. we all know they are divorced and we have seen her side of the story. so what is the problem.

The 3abn team tries to couch it in smiles and sunshine holy language and coners for linda and "not wanting to hurt any one", but it is garbage. When God has to be judged by the universe to see if he is dealing fairly with satan, Why should danny shelton think he is going to be judged with a lesser standard, espically when he claims to represent God.


The reason we should care about this is that Danny is a powerful man and have influenced the choice of officers in the chruch. Do you really want one man running the whole chruch like that? espically if he is not being honest or moral? Danny's view is being propagated and dessminated as fact without any verification. That is just scary. if he could do this to his own wife, what do you think he could do to any one else? there are probally a lot of reason why that I have not listed. feel free to add more reason why we should care.

I have not followed the whole story nor do I watch 3ABN. But if that's true Danny Shelton remarried a couple of days after divorce, it sounds like he had already picked out the new wife before the divorce.

Spiritual Adultery is a term used by Kay Kuzma to justify the divorce of danny shelton. Kay got the term from a counsoler. I have read the author and it goes something like this. Spiritual adultry happens when 2 persons spend time together and bond emotionally together in there spirits. They begin to share in a way that is inapproate for married persons. (I am paraphrazing from memory. ) It should be called emotional adultery if any thing. it is more like emothinal bonding. It was just a made up excuse to for danny to divorce his wife.

Breif Time line of Danny Shelton and Linda Shelton's divorce. (general time Frame, as it is by memory at 12:20 am) excuse any innaccuracys

11/03 - Dr. From Norway come to 3ABN to visit. Meets Linda and Danny for the first time after years of support.
Dr. is a counsoler for the chemically dependent. Find out Linda's oldest son is addicted to something offer to help If she brings him to Norway.
2/04 Linda Flies son to Norway Son is entered into program. Linda retuns home.
3/04 As part of the treatment for her son. she must be included in the counseling by phone once a week. During the counseling the Dr. determines that one of the main emotional causes of his addictive behaviour is his relationship with danny shelton, claims danny has mistreated him.

Danny finds out and is mad.
4/04 it is about this time that danny starts making offical in the GC aware of her adultery, "evidence" is found of the affair including a birth control kit "found" amoung Lindas possession. Danny claims to have listened in on her phone calls with the Doctor and claims they were having an affair. Danny is accused of verbally and mentally abuse linda, linda flees her home.

04-05/04 at the end of april or beginning of my (my time frame my be off just a bit). Danny convenes a "Independant" panel to investigate this matter. made up of employee and personalities of 3ABN. Note: all panel members we dependent parties of 3ABN, and not really "independant." they try to "Counsel" Linda, Linda insist she has done nothing wrong and flees.

05-07/04 some time between May 2004 and july a sepration agreement has been reached, lindas picture and name has been phase out.
07/2004 At ASI campmeeting Linda's is prayed for and her "problem" is discussed ON AIR. for the first time the general public has become aware that some thing is amiss.
Later that month Danny "Publically" says goodbye to Linda and infoms viewer that It is becuse of "Choice" made by linda.

08/04 Linda starts a web site and begins to tell her side of the story. At some point a gag order it put in effect(not sure if this it the right month.) Lindas information Gets posted on "ClubAdventist" " BlackSDA" and "Maritime SDA-Online (run by our own Daryl Facwet) .

09-2004 to current

E-mail between these 3 fourms CA,BSDA, msdaol, and 3abn are bosted including posts from Danny supporters Kay Kuzma, Walter Thompson and Danny Shelton. Info From Linda and her supporters are also posted on these fourms. As the information comes the tide beging to turn agains Danny Shelton. In large part , due to his unwilling ness to say anythng about the subject of substance. Ranting and ravings and accusation by Danny are hurled at these organizatons. Danny uses his postion as President of 3ABN to trash Linda WORLDWIDE making people even more aware of the situation. (Now how stupid is that)

Danny at some point in 2004 files for Divorce in Guam, believing that the divorce laws allow for quick divorce. the divorce is rejected and he must file in his home state. the divorce eventually goes through and a few days later danny is remarried to his currennt wife Brandie.

During since the sepration in 2004 information has come out of 3ABN that all is not really well Rumors and inuendo have brought to light that there are some serious problems at 3ABN, Including , child mlosteation by tommy shelton, unwed pregnecy by melody, sexual assult by danny shelton and child abuse by danny shelton. All of which are denied repeatly.

3ABN has under gone a make over, including personality and line up changes. All of those loyal to danny have been promoted in someway. Others have left the ministry due to the conflict.

This is the 3ABN Saga in a Nutshell.

I had suspected so

It looks like the real reason danny wanted to divorce his wife is, when she was getting help for her son, the boy started to talk about danny sins and danny did not like it. it made him look bad. Danny accused linda of planning to travel to Norway and the doctor of comming a second time to america to have a secret affair with Linda. Linda making arrangement to travel to norway. Tall could you summeize what you want to look at there are 46 page and I don't know which things to foucs on. is there something specific you want us to know. could you edit your post and tell us what and where to look? thank you

You have obviously sided with Linda on these issues and have a prejudiced outlook. This becomes very obvious to the readers as well. The doctor would not tell the truth if an affair had occurred can't you see that? Likewise Linda wouldn't be telling the truth either. It seems everyone on your side of the arguement is so willing at this point to castigate Danny Shelton and call him a psyhcopath when no clear evidence has been given at all to support any of the allegations so far. What exactly do you hope to gain by all of this? Do you want to see 3ABN shut down? Is that it in a nut shell. If so then I think I can see who is really behind what is going on here.

Now with that said, I am in full agreement that if any criminal act on the part of Tommy can be shown to be true then charges need to be filed immediately and he needs to be removed from having anything to do with children at 3abn. As far as this other stink over the alleged affair of Linda and Danny's discourse with her I would say just drop it. This is something that the more you stir it up the worse it stinks and we are serving no one but the devil by doing it. The marriage is over with and nothing can change that. No one knows for sure who is really telling the truth but God and the participants in this mess. God will be the final judge but to go on and on and on with this is not doing the Christain thing.

i assembled it last summer and sent it out via -Black SDA. I just assembled the statments that had been made by the parties involved and sent them out. You had asked for a copy.

icould not disagree with you more. This is not just about the divorce any more. it is about some one's life. Danny is a high profile leader and he has to have ground for divorce. He just can't take away linda mininstry, she did help build it, then trash her reputation in front of the entire world and still be a leader. If he is guilty he should not be a leader in the chruch and the chruch should not promote him I cannot accept that . how familure are you with this issue? If danny is not guilty He deserves to have his reputation restored. Linda if she is quilty is has asked for this to be invistigated. I just cannot agree with your apathy towards. Adventist are to apathetic towartds the issue of divorce.

I'm not being apathetic, I'm being practical. An investigation will not reveal the truth as to whether sexual misconduct occurred or not. The window of opportunity to make that happened was gone within 48 hours of the alleged misconduct. Further investigations into the allegations against Tommy however I think is warranted. The other to me is like a stinky pot of dung, the more you stir it the worse it stinks and we are not serving the Lord's interest in doing it. Danny is a high profile individual in our church you are right. However, 3abn is not the church and does not receive support directly from the SDA church. This scandal is, legally speaking , nothing to the church. It's a big mess and it is not going to be productive either way it goes.
