Not surprising. Also the fact that he was offered that church proves he was not dependant on 3abn to "see what his boss wanted him to see." Actually John L would have been his boss since he was JL's assistant pastor.
The same with John L. He was succesful as a singer and pastor way before 3abn so your "slant" that he is "bought off" so to speak, holds no water.
As far as their live housecall program goes, yes Pastor Stanton has to drive however many hours it takes to get to 3abn a couple of times a month, spend sometime on making the program and then drive back to Springfield. Definitely sounds like that is enough fun for him that he would lie to please Danny. You also refer that this and that program is at Danny's bidding. I believe you know better. There is a program committe that comes up with new ideas for programs and the production manager also has a lot of say in the decisions. Danny would not even be approached unless there was something major in question. How do I know this? I have 2 friends that were directors there. They can answer about anything I want to know on that subject line.
I have read many of your other posts and have come to the conclusion that your claims that Danny Shelton controls the conference, the churches, pastors, board members, church board members, ASI, auditors, accountants, programs, production, the church school, the McNeilus family...etc etc lead me to believe that you must be dillusional or not telling the truth. If you would have stuck to a few individuals or a few situations, I could have more readily believed you. But after so many months of laying the "world" at Danny's feet, you fail in believability. It's like a movie. A few unreal stunts are ok, that maybe could happen. But when 1 guy decks 10 or jumps from a sky scraper and comes up without a scratch, then it becomes totally unrealistic. This seems to be what we have here. You give the man way too much credit by making him responsible for every sin in the denomination. Even President Bush doesn't have that much power.

Excellent point PP007. That is exactly what I feel. There was once a definite absence of common sense on the subject of 3abn and how it is run. Not any more. All these accusations that are leveled at Linda somehow leave out the fact that Dan was the PRESIDENT all those many years and called the shots, brought in the money and had his way. He has not taken his thumb off things. He doesn't need to run the entire state of IL, just a handful of people that might owe him, or need something or just simply believe his lies. That's all it takes.

They have said that they keep hundreds of satellites and receivers in stock. And if indeed, they went digital, someone did their homework on the purchasing. That is low cost to change to a new format. Honestly, I can't imagine what a ministry that size would contain as far as inventory, equipment, electronics, books, cd's, dvd's, tshirts, bibles, etc etc. Naturally the more they expanded over the years, the bigger the amount would be.

John Stanton was an employee of 3ABN. Very shortly after Linda arrived at the Springfield church, the conference sent him there to take over. One of his first acts was to tell Linda that she would no longer be acting in any roll in the church other than as an attendee. She had been leading song services, and assisting in Sabbath School. He let her know that this would stop immediately. She was also not to do special music anymore. Curious, isn't it?
I believe you are totally correct in everything you just posted, except the "curious isn't it." No it wouldn't be curios at all since PASTOR Stanton had just come from being the assistant pastor at the Thompsonville church so more than likely would have been privy to the evidence of Linda's activities and of course privy to any church board discussions or actions on the matter. He did right by holding up the standards on the information he had.

Maybe we should also mention that John Stanton Knew "the facts" that his employer wanted him to know. Maybe we should mention that the vast majority of the church board were in Danny's employ or had family in his employ, as was the case with the majority of the members of Danny's 3ABN church. Maybe we should mention the TV program that the two Johns are still doing at Danny's pleasure? Maybe we should mention that the Conference president is on Danny's board? Maybe we should mention that the conference president's parents are Danny's representatives?
Would any of these factors have any part in a matter of this nature, mr tomatoe?

you betcha! that's EXACTLY what was done here. that's ok...the worst part of it is, when it hits the fan, there will be no going back to fix that one. what's done is done. but hey, lets try to keep it all messy and conveluted and distracted and on petty and stretched and created side issues...because you see, that's their attempt (although it isn't working) to keep the attention off what you have just stated above, and hope it stays tucked back and away somewhere. simple. it was done because that's what the president wanted.
