  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For some reason I didn't get to see my OB today I had to see another and will for my 34 week appt. I don't mind much as he's the head of the OB clinic but still weird.

My urine checks out clear so my bladder infection is gone.

I'm up almost 9 pounds from last month.

He was a little worried about my uterus measuring small. It should be 32 cm(as I'm 32 weeks tomorrow dispite what the tracker says) but I measured 29. He says not to worry unless it was off 5-6 cm in either direction.

They(Head OB plus 2 students got to try squishing me) moved my belly around and the baby is head down with his back to my right. Will he stay that way?

He should stay that way - the muscles surrounding your uterus are quite strong and should prevent baby twisting around, its' only in women who are on 2nd pregnancies and so on whose babies can do somersaults right up until the last couple of weeks.

Well that's good then one less thing to worry about. Since his arms and legs are facing my left, maybe that's why it hurts more on that side, it's the one getting on the punches and kicks.
My left side hurts more too and that's where I get most of the kicking/punching.

He should stay that way--just don't spend too much time upside down :)

Measuring fundal height is a very personal kind of thing. The way one person measures might be very diferent from the way another measures -- I would blow it off totally if another person usually measures your fundal height.

Also remember --doesn't it sound just a little absurd that all women- no matter what their body type, etc. will measure exactly the same at exactly the same time?? It's all a guideline...as long as your little one is growing --that is what is important!!

ANd yay! on the bladder infection! You've got to be glad to get rid of that!!
