I'm 31. Anyone else here 31? I'm enjoying it for the most part, but at times I wish I were younger. For instance, there was this girl who joined our crew at work (I work at a tree nursery) to help us water trees. I was hoping she was 18 or older because she was pretty. Unfortunately, she's only 16. She looks more like 18. When I found that out I was like aw man. I wished then I was 17 or 16 again. That's life I guess. You don't get any younger, I'm afraid. As far as dating, I would likely go for someone younger than me. I probably wouldn't date someone my age. 18 is the minumum legal age and I would likely only date someone that young if I felt like she was mature enough.

I'm 31 too.

Everyone under 24 is weird, so I personally wouldn't date women younger than that. But that's just me. If you're both legal adults, I don't see the problem.

Which reminds me...
People our age are still young enough to play high school students on TV. No need to start thinking we're old geezers.

I don't think I can pass for a high school student these days. I think I can still pass for as young as 24 or 25.

However, I think I can remember about six or seven years ago, I was believed to have been about 16! I don't seem to be getting that as much anymore.

31 here. I'm married, but I think if I was single I would find someone the same age or older. Women tend to mature much earlier than men. So usually it's okay for a man to date a younger woman, but taboo for a woman to date a younger man. (Unless you're Demi Moore, but come on! Look at her!:p )

I'm 31 (turning 32 this December). Most people think I'm 23/24 (which doesn't bother me a bit).

Whenever I do run across high school/college students I think to myself that I do hope they enjoy that time of their life because it does go by fast!

31? Been there, done that.

Why do you prefer a really young woman? I think I know the answer, but I'm just curious....

I'll add that my husband is 15 years older than me, but he married me when I was 26...and mature. Finding a 18 year old woman that's just as mature as a 31 year old will be a challenge.

Your one day older than me!

I hated turning 30, there is so much I had not done. I was in a bad mood all day, and I am never in a bad mood (well sometimes I'm a little down).

I now really have to just leave it all in God's hands. The biggest problem is I am female, would love love love to have children, but have health issues and also I worry if I would be a good mum.

I remember back when I was starting University at 17 and there was a guy in our class who was 31, he seemed so old! now I am there (which seemed to have happened so quickly) it does not seem so old.

I also remember thinking that when I was 24 and not married I was over the hill! I met my husband 2 weeks before my 25th birthday. I also had a weird feeling that I would die before I was 30, I dont know why. Anyway I am still kicking along and apart from having kids, I am not worried about getting older in limiting what I can do.
