30 days.

I have a ton of gratitude today. Gratitude that I have put 30 days between my last drink and me. I am so grateful because I did more than just drink in that last binge. I had been abusing Vicodin and cut myself pretty bad on top of the drink.

God has been at work in my heart and my mind. He is healing both, and helping me take the next steps in my recovery journey. I am not sure what that will look like, because I am still dealing with the physical pain, which has been ongoing for about six months, minus a two week period in January just prior to my meltdown.

I will get my butt to an AA meeting on Sunday to receive my 30 day coin.

congratulations on making it 30 days. to some it doesn't seem like much, but for someone addicted it is a huge accomplishment. keep going strong and make it 60 then 90 then 120. I hope I can make it 30 days without a hiccup. Good job you are an inspiration.
