Rev 14:6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rev 14:7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Rev 14:8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Rev 14:9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
I think Adventists are missing the boat a bit on the three angels messages. The thinking seems to be that the angels are saying keep the sabbath or receive the mark of beast. Come out from babylon ie. non sabbath keeping. Hence you have a bunch of people cruising along going to church on saturday thinking cool I went to church on saturday so I dont have the mark of the beast.
When the Angel Says with a loud voice "Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters" This does not = keep the sabbath! It means wake up and worship your creator with every fibre of you being.
True, adventists, the three angels messages are an issue of worship but do you fear god and give glory to him? Are you living to worship your creator? And if the hour of his judgement has come, if the advent is close at hand are you living a life that reflects the belief that Christ is soon to return?
