I think Renee is still alive. I'm sure that the producers willingly cheapened the value of the "silent ticking clock" in order to "try" to fool people.

Jack has to be redeemed... in her eyes, mostly. At the end of the day, Renee will realize that Jack was doing all of this undercover stuff and had to play the role tightly.

Jack will most likely end up in bed with Renee by the end of the day (24 hours).

I had to skip over the last few posts because I still have yet to watch Hrs 3 and 4 (10:00am to 12:00am).

But I'm happy that 24 is back. I thought Redemption was really well done.

The only thing that would excite me more is if Kate Mulgrew was playing the role of the President.

FBI woman won't die, and I was thinking about it - putting that sheet over her will actually keep her alive as she would have a small pocket of air instead of having soil up her nose, in her mouth. She could then push up on the sheet removing the soil, I think that would be easier than digging herself out?

Yeah there's no way she's dead. The tarp gave her plenty of air, and they didn't bury her too deeply. Also the tarp will make it much easier for her to just punch through after they've left as the poster above me said. What a waste of a silent clock. New!Jack can't hold a candle to the emotional departure of Edgar, etc

I'm very meh about last night's episode. The fact that Bill got his groove back, Chloe is in the digital saddle again, and OHMYGOSH, AARON PIERCE! were all awesome spots

But the Man!Chloe as the mole? Acting sneeky and skeevy the whole time, it seemed waaay too obvious for him to actually be the mole at the end. Bad writing on the part of 24 I think.

Super excited for next week though. Looking at the preview my immediate thought was... :

Almost word for word, I said the exact same thing when I saw the preview last night!! That's too funny!

I think the writers wanted us to think that ManChloe (I almost feel he's not deserving of than pseudonym) was the mole, but kept diffusing every situation where it would seem that we were about to catch him and say, "Ah HA!!".

And then as subtley as can be, they just burst our bubbles last night.

I was glad to see Jack spare the life of that security guard at the container facility. For once he didn't treat someone as a sacrificial lamb.

Also, I just knew Olivia was a snake in the grass. Shame on her...I hope her mommy finds out and spanks her good!
