Can you give us an example of, say, 5 pieces of empirical, original research that has been published in the field in the past decade to verify that?

I can't post links yet. I don't have enough posts. But there are other threads and even websites that deal with it. This thread is soley about mocking creationists. Can you find a YEC thread that treats its rivals in the same way?

As for a source, while many people here don't respect answersingenesis, check out some of the newer materials posted. While not all of it is credible or true, just think: in the hundreds of articles posted there, it only takes 1 to be true for evolution to not have been able to happen. Just 1.

Yeah, they mostly hide a level down in the Creationists-only subforum I think, where I don't bother going too often.

As for a source, while many people here don't respect answersingenesis, check out some of the newer materials posted.

Answers in Genesis is not an academic source for research literature, unless they've changed dramatically in the recent past.

While not all of it is credible or true, just think: in the hundreds of articles posted there, it only takes 1 to be true for evolution to not have been able to happen. Just 1.

That isn't true, in the course of history there have been frequent studies that contradict Evolution, in which case the theory is revised, not rejected.

True, but neither is 99% of things cited in forums. They are always the next level of somebody trying to take research and explain it to people. I can't count the number of times youtube and wikipedia are cited for sources, or some website by a person who is not a scientist, but has mix mashed scientific data together to show their view.

You'd be surprised. Over here there's at least one practicing paleontologist and one leading geneticist who (IIRC) was directly involved in the Human Genome Project. There was also a theoretical physicist, but he annihilated with someone who was apparently Barry Setterfield's wife in a massive wave of flame-radiation, much like matter and antimatter.

In any case, why not try asking a technical question here? You never know if you'll get a good answer.

I can see the humor many of you find in the video, but its an unfair picture of us YEC's and it makes me sad.

What's sad is that each of the critiques of evolution in that video continue to be pushed by YECs intent on defending biblical concordism. Your beloved Hovind included (well... maybe not anymore).
