Another beautifimous trip to Longwood Gardens today! This time we forced Grandma to go with us She hates getting up early, but I knew it would be good for her, and she loved it. She and Josh were SO rambunctious on the way home, though...when they get together, it's so loud and raucous and wild (they're like two kids instead of one kid and a grandma lol). I seriously get a headache anytime they're in my car together. Anyway! Picture time

When we got there, a wedding party was on their way in for photographs

We love the children's indoor garden! Check out their awesome fountains (which kids are encouraged to splash in, they even provide towels if it gets too wild lol).

Check out the bird on top of the wall!

Birds blowing bubbles!

A fish made out of seashells...groovy!

Purty stained glass window...

...which makes a rainbow on the floor!

Water, water everywhere!

There's a big dragon theme in the children's garden.

The rules for kids and dragons are clearly stated.

Outside, Josh and Grandma snuggle up for a pic.

They have an exhibit all about flowers and fragrances that is really cool. Here are some perfume bottles from all over the world, from the early 1900's to today.

Everytime we go to LG we find something new! Today we found the water lily garden. Look at those lily pads!! Did you know they grow to that size in just 3 weeks?

Bonsai trees!!!! If you've never seen one in person, pictures can't really depict how awesome they are. It's like being a giant and looking at a mini-forest...it's surreal and amazing.

Imagine maintaining one of these trees for over 100 years!!

No idea what this was, but it looks like it's covered with Christmas lights!!

Anyone wanna volunteer to climb this tree?

Dunno what these are, but they're gorgeous.

This room was full of tropical flowers. It was hot, humid, and smelled like a perfume shop. Grandma and Josh went to town with their sniffers. Allergy-suffering me did not.

Beautimous beauty wherever you look!

Joshy checking out the outdoor train display.

Josh and Grandma by the awesomely awesome waterfall.

And to finish...some breathtaking statues!

That's all, folks!
