Modern chair? Never heard og a modern chair... my mom loves her table set though. So I'm sure she'd thank you, too.

Do you like cats? I love 'em... if I weren't so allergic to them I'd open up a cat hotel. For all the kitties of the world to come and relax.

It's so funny though... everyone I know knows I love cats, so they always come to me with cat questions. I'm not a vet, so all I can do is give them my thoughts based on whether or not my cats have had the same problem.
Ha, now I'm rambling.

I have a gray cat, too. Well, he's a kitten and he's not mine... I'm just taking care of him. His name is Neko which is japanese for cat. I call him cleaver though.
My aunt had a cat whos name was also smokey... she was a mean old cat.

mitchell printed out too many duty rosters. scooter taped them to his door. i wrote an encouraging message and taped a bunch of stickers.


one day i put flowers in Christopher's hair while he serenaded me.


a few weeks ago my best friend sarah came to visit!! <3 <3 <3


a small virus went around camp. caleb and daniel were very sick. they walked around like this, and caleb refused to hug me. it made me cry.


jen went home sick with mono at the beginning of summer. christopher and i gave her a coloring book and crayons to keep her entertained. she sent us one of the pictures.


the first week of camp i was a counselor AND craft director. it was busy. the last night, my awesome cabin did a sneak out to the rock wall. they got really into it. it was awesome.


matt came to visit from indonesia.


my awesome first week cabin and our awesome cabin flag.


me, tay & emily were reunited. emily stays the night in my cabin every break day. the first break day, taylor came too.


i went on a field trip with sharon and mark to buy candy for the canteen. i imagine this is what happens if you are rich and halloween is approaching.


emily and i playing a game during orientation.


during orientation, we made shields (our theme is medieval) representing the core values of camp. i drew our camp director


mitchell, our fearless leader!!!


christopher fed echo some doritos. echo sat like this for a very long time.


i was bonding with echo, and then stupid mitchell stole her away from me.


we had a pool campfire. mitchell and ian did a skit - and some other boys did a synchronized swim around the canoe - to "kiss the girl." mitchell was the girl.


i still wear dresses every day even though i'm at camp


my name tag! emily made it for me before camp even started.


i sliced my knee open and it got bruised and infected. nurse connie drew a heart on my bandaid!


every morning during flag raising assembly, the "night knight" (foreground) comes out and puts the staff to sleep. then the "good night" (background) comes, defeats him, and leads the campers on a little jog. i caught them ready to go. the night knight actually scares me.


this was supposed to be taylor, me and katie but the zoom went on. so its me and tayla.


elias came to camp. erlinda said "i feel like i'm meeting a celebrity, like i should get your autograph or something." so then elias signed her schedule.

last weekend, emily and i woke up early and went to target. i turned around and she was wearing these shoes. it went with her outfit really well.


we went mini-golfing for shari's birthday last week. shari, a statue thing, em, me & kayla


don't mind danny in the front.

it's really good. i cannot believe there's only 2 more weeks of the regular camp season

No crocodiles here ma'am. We do have gar, ky-oats, and jackelopes though

Typically, it's all dry, yellow, and brittle. The two weeks of rain was very, very strange for us. It's made everything green. It's nice.

I went surfing this weekend (nothing new).. but something new DID happen! So I found this diagram online to show you...



hahaha. And thus.. my foot is swelled up and Im out of the water for a few.

So....(forgive my "I live nowhere near water" self)...the stinger is in the tail? Where on the foot/ankle did it sting you exactly?

Yes, I'm blurry and cropped incognito on purpose. Leave my mirror technique alone. I couldn't take it "backwards" at that time. These actually are pretty cool, but really wide across the widest part of my face but the black frames make my eyebrows and eyelashes look joined into a unibrow. SO...I will not be joining the "black rimmed" club? I'm getting some slightly rounded clear framed ones.

When I was in Panama City, we saw a stingray just offshore that had to be 6 or 7 feet long.

I look fwd to your camp pics every year and somehow this year snuck up on me and not only that but you just said camp is almost over. What all have I missed???
