CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm what Willis was talkin' bout.
BF and I took a stroll around downtown tonight to see the Christmas light displays. We caught a photoshoot promoting the Olympics taking place at the Art Gallery - the and ironic thing is, they were using a snow machine. 
But in defense of the weather, it typically doesn't snow in Vancouver until later on in winter, but we better have our fingers and toes crossed that we won't have to use an army of these machines for the Olympic games in February!
BF's disapproving look at some punk kids who were horsing around on the frozen water fountain. All we heard was a big crack from the ice and some cursing immediately following!

Josh and I went to Dutch Wonderland tonight. FROZE OUR BUTTS OFF...but the lights were worth it. Kind of.
I still can't feel half my body parts.
They had a really awesome music/light show. It wasn't easy catching the lights in an "on" moment lol.
The carousel lights were so pretty...like a drug for my eyeballs.
There was one heated building in the whole park, which was a restaurant. I so did not want to step outside again after getting halfway thawed out!!! They had a miniature train display in there, too.
