CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I take the road less traveled
I don't make resolutions but what I would like to do next year is, with God's help, become more and more like Him.
I'm hoping that I'll be able to study, I struggled this past year and had to give up my studies this year so I'm hoping to continue next year. I'm also going to try to be more patient and trust that God's timing is perfect and not rush ahead with my own plans.

Not really a resolution, but a change in the way I live: I'm going to start listening to people more and changing my quality of friendships because of it.

I want to do better in treating my body as a temple. I'm starting by eating much healthier (lots of fresh fruits, less fast food) and doing some physical activities I enjoy.

Spend more time with my girlfriend.
Get out more -- Already have kind of fixed this by joining a gun club that my best friend belongs to.

I just aspire to be a better person. I realized I did not believe in the prospect of making resolutions. I am not going to resolve to do better, I just am going to.

And finally. No mocking!
- Meet my wife. I do not have to marry her or even propose... but I would like to have an inkling that she is going to be my wife. -- Even if we're just friends...
