What a great name. Are you going to call him Seeker?Sunnie Rose said:Okay folks..... I knew this would get ya'll thinking...... and I hesitate to give any clues for purpose, becuase the answers have ALL been great.... and I love what the theme has become, and how it has encouraged deep thought..... however.... I'll try to make it easier....
It's a name..... for a beloved, new, rescued horse. On his papers his name is SureFire's Seeker.
I am looking for true meaning in the name for him, to see if it is indeed who he is, and or how I feel about him.
Promise Seeker came close I think.

I took care of a rescued Saddlebred horse for two years named "Elaine's Elegent Dream". I would always sing to her and her response to me was almost human. While I sang, it seemed to calm her. The other barn girls said that we should call her Music, and so that was her name from there on.
Calling her Music deepened my relationship with her. Does that make sense?
