  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

20 Blessings.......

Is what you are seeking have to do with you a personal relationship?

Okay folks..... I knew this would get ya'll thinking...... and I hesitate to give any clues for purpose, becuase the answers have ALL been great.... and I love what the theme has become, and how it has encouraged deep thought..... however.... I'll try to make it easier....

It's a name..... for a beloved, new, rescued horse. On his papers his name is SureFire's Seeker.

I am looking for true meaning in the name for him, to see if it is indeed who he is, and or how I feel about him.

Promise Seeker came close I think.

What a great name. Are you going to call him Seeker?

I took care of a rescued Saddlebred horse for two years named "Elaine's Elegent Dream". I would always sing to her and her response to me was almost human. While I sang, it seemed to calm her. The other barn girls said that we should call her Music, and so that was her name from there on.
Calling her Music deepened my relationship with her. Does that make sense?

To elaborate, the relationship we had was reciprocal. And i feel that because she responded to my singing, and i was able to give her a name that meant a lot to me, it deepened the bond between us. Okay, done blabbing.

That's beautiful, and I totally understand!!! One equestrian to another!

I ran the thread contest to name him, the closest was "Yasha" which means "saved or rescued"...... very meaning full.... however... he doesn't respond to it.. maybe it's too feminine for a stud?......

Still looking...... and listening!

how 'bout "ton of death?" because if he steps on somebody, ooooch. This could open up opprtunites for sharing the Gospel, too!

"see my new horse? He's named "Ton of death", know why? Because death is a very important subject, you should spend some time seriously considering your own!.... etc, see that? Perfect.
