I’ve recently created a YouTube channel called Harvesting Truth Ministry and posted my first video yesterday on 2 Timothy 2:11-13 where I do a refutation of Bob Wilkin’s commentary on this passage and I welcome any critique or advice on this explanation of the passage. Tell me what you think of it.

13 minutes in, I guess I get the gist of what he's saying. The Bible says many things, it all depends how you approach it. What he is saying is something the bible also says.
Amen, I think it’s mostly about what is the context of Jesus’ message in Matthew 10? In my opinion the majority of the message gives indication of condemnation for failing to abide in Christ. I appreciate your input.

The internet is bad in a way, if a video is too long, I just listen for a bit. Having a written transcript really helps.

I hear ya, only so much time in a day.
Yeah I really didn’t intend for it to be that long but I felt it was absolutely imperative that it was as comprehensive as possible so as to not leave out anything important to the discussion.

The theology in the video is a parallel interpretation I refer to along with other interpretations.

Since the scripture says "may God be true and every man a liar" it is important to consider everything.

This is what I see in 2 Tim 2:11 !!

# 1 The words IT IS is not in the Greek and were added .

# 2 SAYING // LOGOS , is in the NOMINATIVE CASE , meaning Designation and in the SINGULAR

# 3 FOR // GAR , is a Conjunction

# 4 IF // EI , also a Conjiunction

# 5 WE BE DEAD WITH ?/ SYNAPOTNES , is the AORIST TENSE , means past tense has already happened , in the INDICATIVE MOOD

meaning you better believe it , in the PLUJRAL

# 6 Him was added

# 7 WE SHALL // SYZAO , is in FUTURE TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE and means Christ is behind this action and in the PLURAL

# 8 ALSO // KAI , in a CONJNCTION

# 9 LIVE WITH // SYZAO , in the FUTURE TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE , meaning Christ will perform that action , and in the

INDICATIVE MOOD , means you better believe it

# 10 HIM was added

# 11 IF WE ENDURE //

Yes “Him” was most likely added because of the context of verses 10 & 12 where Paul is referring to enduring in Christ Jesus and verse 12 refers to Him as “He” again.

The reality of scripture is that ALL of God's Words apply to all of us, Matt. 4:4, Luke 4:4, Deut. 8:3. Are 3 citings enough to convince anyone?

So how for example would both absolutely being saved and not being saved at all apply to all of us?

Well, this is a fairly simple exercise. Think of yourself and the tempter tempting internally.

Do you see 2 opposite fates in the equation and therefore both aspects of scripture are true and apply?

Good! You passed a very simple test of faith

IF we're tempted internally by the tempter there are 2 separate entities involved. The person and the tempter.

Seems easy enough. Mark 4:15

Jesus also provided abundant examples of this on nearly every page of the N.T. Gospels

And 2 TIM 2:11 IS TRUE .

And so is verse 12 .

And verse 13 says , IF // EI , Is a Conjunction

# 2 WE ARE BELIEVE NOT // APISTEO , is in the Greek PRESENT TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE , means Christ is doing the action ,

is in the INDICATIVE MOOD , MEANS you better believe it , is in tje PLURAL , mean taking to all believers

# 3 HE // EKINOS is a DEMONSYRATIVE PRONOUN , in the NOMINATIVE CASE , and in the SIGNULAR

# 4 ABIDETH // MENO , is in the Greek PRESENT TENSE , means NOW , ACTIVE VOICE , meaning Christ is doing the ACTION

in the SINGULAR meaning to a simgular believers

# 5 FAITHFUL // PISTIS , in the Greek NOMINATIVE CASE , in te SINGULAR

# 6 HE CANNOT // OU , is a DISJUNCATIO PARTICLE NEGATIVE and means Christ can neverrrrrrrr deny His self

# 7 DENY // ARNEMAI , is in the passt ntense , the Greek AORIST TENSE in the Greek MIDDLE VOICE

# 8 HIMSELF // HEAUTOU , is a REFEXIVE PRONOUN , is in the Greek ACCUSATIVE CASE , in the SINGULAR , meaning

one believer at a time

# 9 BUT 1 Cor 3:11-18 you will be saved BUT will LOSE your rewards !!

I think everyone will suffer some loss and lose some rewards Dan.
And I believe strongly , what the HOLY SPIRIT had Paul write in 1 Cor 11:1 that WE become IMTATORS OF ME ( PAUL )

just as I am of Christ !!

What do you think about 1 Cor 2:9 ??
